Just brought this from E-Bay

Some guy was selling 4 BU rolls of 1963-D franklin halves, paid $432.50 after shipping & insurance. http://www.coinflation.com/coins/sil...&Submit=Submit coinflation lists the total silver value as $395.84... Thats a $35.66 premium on 28.9357 troy ounces of silver. Not bad for converting Federal Reserve Notes into real money. Just need silver to rise about $1.25 a troy oz and im good :D I figure these coins are the next best thing to bu mercury dime rolls when the shtf. but bu mercury dimes cost way too much... way too much. ($200+ on ebay) But I dunno.. Im selling all my bu state quarter rolls, proof coins, ect and getting real money with them, I think ill get some BU SAEs too. Are bu franklin rolls a good idea? I only want them because all franklin halves were made in 90% unlike the JFKs and contain slightly more than 1/3 ounce of silver...But I guess that answers my own question. But what is a good ratio of 90% to SAEs? |
Re: Just brought this from E-Bay
I think thats a great buy. Nice work.
btw, '64 Kennedys are 90%. 63-D is by far the highest mintage @ 67,069,292....but MS-63's are probably worth $10/ea... |
